How do I join Beyond The Bridle?

You can join Beyond The Bridle online at: www.beyondthebridle.ca/register

From there, simply follow the registration steps to create your account, purchase Beyond The Bridle and get started. Make sure to complete all steps while enrolling before exiting the page. We’re excited to have you join us!

What is the price of Beyond The Bridle, and what do I receive when I join?

Beyond The Bridle originally launched at our special Founding Member price of $177 USD. As of September 15, 2026, the price is $227 USD as a one-time payment.

Your purchase includes the complete Beyond The Bridle online Liberty clinic, as well as access to our Beyond The Bridle community where you can connect with other horse people, share your journey and be part of the community we’re building around this work.

As we continue to work on Beyond The Bridle, we may add new resources, bonuses and updates, and the price may increase again in the future. The exciting news is that once you’re in, any future updates or additions to this iteration of Beyond The Bridle will be included in your existing access at no additional cost!

So if you’ve been thinking about joining us, we encourage you to jump in at the current price. You’ll have access to everything that’s currently inside Beyond The Bridle, plus anything we add to it in the future.

What will I learn inside Beyond The Bridle?

Beyond The Bridle is formatted very similarly to the in-person clinics Niki teaches and takes you through the groundwork exercises she finds instrumental in setting a horse up for success at liberty.

There are six groundwork exercises in the course. These aren’t only useful for liberty either. They are great horsemanship tools for working with horses of all ages and disciplines.

For Niki, the groundwork is so important because it helps set up the relationship. Horses communicate with each other through body language on the ground, so when we can learn to communicate with them in a way they understand, with fairness and good timing, we can create a softer, more willing horse and an experience that is rewarding for both of us.

From there, Niki also shows you the exact exercise she uses to hook her horses onto her and keep them hooked, eventually working toward having them willingly follow and circle at liberty.

Is Beyond The Bridle online or in person?

Beyond The Bridle is completely online, so you can participate from wherever you and your horses call home.

Your purchase gives you access to the complete online Liberty clinic as well as our Beyond The Bridle community. You can work through the clinic on your own time and at your own pace. There are no scheduled classes you have to attend and there is no requirement to submit videos of yourself or your horse.

Niki really wanted this to be something people could fit into their own lives and their own horsemanship. You can watch the lessons when it works for you, head out and spend some time with your horse, and come back to the material whenever you need it. And although the clinic itself is online, you’re not on your own. You’ll also have our Beyond The Bridle community where you can connect with other members and share some of your journey along the way.

Do I need to be able to ride, and does my horse need to be broke to ride?

No to both! Beyond The Bridle is focused on groundwork and the foundations of liberty, so you do not need to be able to ride to participate, and your horse does not need to be broke to ride.

You can work through Beyond The Bridle with a young horse that hasn’t been started under saddle, an older horse, a pony, a retired horse or the horse you ride every day. This work isn’t dependent on what discipline you ride or whether you ride at all. What matters is that you have a horse that is safe and appropriate for you to work with at your current level of experience.

Niki's intention with Beyond The Bridle is to help people build better communication, connection and understanding with their horses, and you certainly don’t need to be in the saddle to do that.

How long will I have access to Beyond The Bridle?

Beyond The Bridle is a one-time payment. There is no monthly subscription or recurring fee for your access to this course.

We don’t use the words “lifetime access” simply because a lifetime is a very long time and there are things we can’t guarantee. Technology changes, platforms change, and we never want to make a promise about something that may be outside of our control years down the road.

What we can tell you is that we have no plans to shut down Beyond The Bridle. Your one-time payment gives you access to the course for the foreseeable future, so you can work through it at your own pace and come back to the lessons whenever you need them.

If Niki creates a completely new course or program in the future, that would be a separate purchase.

Will I get future updates and bonuses added to Beyond The Bridle?

Yes! When you purchase Beyond The Bridle, you’re purchasing access to this iteration of the course. If we add or update lessons, resources, workbooks or bonuses within Beyond The Bridle, you’ll receive those updates as part of your existing access at no additional charge.

We’ve already talked about all kinds of things we may want to add as we continue to grow this community, and we’re excited to see where it goes!

If Niki eventually creates a separate program, such as a more advanced Part Two course, that would be a new program and would need to be purchased separately.

Can I use Beyond The Bridle on my phone?

Yes. Beyond The Bridle can be accessed from both your phone and your desktop computer.

If you’re accessing the course from your phone, make sure your browser, such as Safari or Chrome, is up to date. If something isn’t loading properly, updating your browser or trying another browser is a good place to start. If you have any other issues please see our Troubleshooting page.

Can I do Beyond The Bridle with any horse?

Yes! One of the things Niki really wants people to understand about this work is that it isn’t only for a certain type of horse or discipline.

Your horse does not need to be broke to ride. You can work through these foundations with horses from different disciplines, young horses such as yearlings, older horses, ponies and horses that may never be ridden at all.

What matters is that the horse you choose is safe and appropriate for you to work with at your current skill level.

Liberty and the connection we’re building through this course can benefit so many different horses and horse people. The goal is learning to communicate more clearly, building trust and creating a better connection with the horse in front of you.

Young adults can work through Beyond The Bridle with an appropriate horse or pony as well, with suitable supervision based on their age and experience.

What is your return or refund policy?

Due to the digital nature of Beyond The Bridle and the immediate access you receive to the course materials upon purchase, all sales are final and we do not offer returns or refunds. We encourage you to read through the information about Beyond The Bridle and our FAQs before purchasing to make sure the course is a good fit for you and your horse.
